The Pomperaug River Watershed Coalition is working to identify and reduce the threats to our local water supply. It is the only regional entity that uses science and education to help ensure the availability of high quality water in our Watershed and the communities that rely upon it.

With your continued support, we will continue our scientific work and expand our educational outreach in the coming year. Your gift will help fund:

• Restoration projects for habitat and streamside stabilization.
• Increased outreach and hands-on projects with students in elementary, middle, and high schools.
• Vital research to assess and address the legacy of groundwater contamination as well as to understand the realities of pharmaceuticals in our water.
• Expansion of the Conservation Conversation Program, a series of educational programs and field activities for members of the public, teachers, and town leaders.
• Regional planning for drought management.
• Support planning and responsible action regarding flood mitigation and river management.
