Climate change will cause reduction in agricultural productivity locally and in many regions of the world. Pomperaug River Watershed Coalition (PRWC) will share resources on best practices to help farmers adapt to climate pressures, mitigate soil erosion, manage nutrients and manure, and grant funding opportunities to implement solutions. The program will take place in the Studio at Flanders Nature Center and Land Trust located at 5 Church Hill Road in Woodbury, CT. Registration is $10 for Flanders members & $15 non-members. PRWC is offering a fee waiver for the first 10 farmers who register. Bethlehem Conservation Commission is offering a fee waiver for any farmer from Bethlehem who registers.
