About the Event

This year, Save the Sound, CT League of Conservation Voters, Rivers Alliance, Citizens Campaign for the Environment, Clean Water Action, CT Land Conservation Council, CT River Conservancy, The Nature Conservancy, and other partners are coming together for a virtual celebration exploring “What Water Means to Me.”

The free virtual event will include:

  • Remarks from Gov. Lamont
  • “Water Wizard” performance by Cyril the Sorcerer (recycling guru CJ May)
  • Panel on the diverse meanings of water in our lives with invited guests representing Indigenous, youth, urban, health expert, and other perspectives
  • Additional speakers, including Senators Chris Murphy and Richard Blumenthal and Representative Rosa DeLauro, highlighting key issues facing our inland waters, Sound, and oceans Register here
