At a time in this world when so many things feel different, some things never change. PRWC remains committed to working on behalf of you and the people you care about to protect and restore the rivers and aquifer that provide clean drinking water, a home to wildlife, and miles of opportunities for recreation and enjoyment.
Hopefully this update answers any questions you may have about PRWC and your rivers. As always, don't hesitate to be in touch if you have additional questions or concerns.
In response to the executive orders of CT Governor Ned Lamont, PRWC's office in Woodbury, CT is closed for the time being. Rest assured that you can still count on PRWC to serve as a steward and watchdog of your rivers and drinking water while we continue to work from the safety of home. We are diligently working behind the scenes to prepare for the upcoming stream monitoring and assessment season and developing new tools to keep you up-to-date on river conditions.

Upcoming Events and Programs
PRWC is committed to following the highest health and safety standards regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus). All our public events have been cancelled or postponed through the beginning of May. That includes the cancellation of Woodbury Earth Day, our largest event of the year. We will continue making decisions about future events as needed. In the meantime, some programs, like Water Watchers, will be moved to a webinar format and new web-based offerings, like Water Wednesdays, have been added. Look for updates via emails, social media, and our online Events Calendar.
We remain hopeful about the future and look forward to reconnecting with you soon. Until then, please embrace the recommendations for social distancing and stay well. Also, please remember that nature remains here for all of us as a healing space. Just a couple hours outdoors a week can provide significant mental health benefits. We hope that you will find your rivers and natural spaces be a place of respite and peace for you in this trying time.
Take Care of Yourself and Your Rivers.
