Based on your selection, the native plant you adopt will be planted along Lake Stibbs in Southbury, CT or along the Pomperaug River at Three Rivers Park in Woodbury, CT.
Each purchase will help protect water local quality, promote native biodiversity, and provide food and habitat for pollinators and other native species.

Also, register to join us on Saturday, May 11th from 9AM - 12PM at Lake Stibbs in Southbury, CT to plant the portion of plants purchased for our Lake Stibbs Riparian Buffer at our "Plant with a Purpose" volunteer event! The northern shoreline was planted with native species in 2022 in cooperation with the Southbury Training School and with support of a grant from the Southbury Community Trust Fund, but some things didn't survive and the gaps need to be filled in. Some time that day will also be devoted to removing invasive bittersweet and multifloral rose that are popping up in the buffer. We hope you will help us with the continued stewardship of this model riparian buffer!
