Dr. Marc J. Taylor Internship /
Youth Conservation Corps Lead

PRWC is accepting applications from undergraduate and graduate students pursuing environmental careers for its Dr. Marc Taylor Internship position. This prestigious environmental student internship was established in 2013 in memory of PRWC’s cofounder, Dr. Taylor (1937-2012). In addition to stewarding environmental resources
at the local, state, and national level, Dr. Taylor was particularly eager to foster the
same passion in those preparing to be the stewards of the future.

The Intern will serve as an ambassador of PRWC, and as Team Lead for PRWC’s Youth Conservation Corps for the 2021 summer season. Together, projects worked on by the Youth Conservation Corps and the Dr. Marc Taylor Intern will protect and enhance natural resources in the Pomperaug Watershed communities. YCC projects may include but are not limited to water quality sampling, streamwalk surveys, river clean-ups, riparian habitat improvement, invasive species removal, erosion mitigation, stormdrain marker installation, culvert assessments and more..  Application deadline is March 31. Please see the  2021 ANNOUNCEMENT & APPLICATION.

Youth Conservation Corps - Team Members
