Flood, drought, bacteria, oh my! With research dating back to 1898, the Pomperaug stands as one of the most studied watersheds in the country. Join Pomperaug River Watershed Coalition to dive deeper into several of the tools used to monitor current local environmental conditions. PRWC will introduce the audience to the U.S. Drought Monitor, Real Time Stream Flow, Groundwater and Precipitation Data, and an Interactive Stream Assessments Map, as well as how the data is shared with the community. PRWC would like to know what data you are interested in learning more about as the organizations continues to evaluate and expand its stream monitoring program.
