Streambank Stabilization Study and Engineering Design Work Commence at Three Rivers Park in Woodbury
Fuss & O'Neill Engaged to Develop Riparian Restoration and Streambank Stabilization Plans The Pomperaug River Watershed Coalition (PRWC) and the Town of Woodbury are pleased to announce that environmental engineering firm Fuss & O'Neill has been engaged and has commenced work on the Three Rivers Park Restoration Planning Project in Woodbury, Connecticut. Thule Volunteers Assist PRWC in Pulling 6,000lbs of Invasive Water Chestnut from Lake Stibbs in Southbury
With help from 10 dedicated Thule volunteers, we were able to pull 6,000lbs of invasive water chestnut from Lake Stibbs in Southbury last Thursday! We're so thankful to the volunteers that joined us this year, this paddle and pull was the largest we've ever had in one day! All together, we collected 232 bushels of water chestnut, which contributes to our ongoing efforts of clearing Lake Stibbs of invasive water chestnut and protecting water quality and safe recreation downstr

PRWC Secures Grant for Three Rivers Park Project - Consulting RFQ Out Now
Pomperaug River Watershed Coalition is among this year's National Fish and Wildlife Foundation's Long Island Sound Futures Fund grant recipients with a $160,000 grant award given to support a planning phase project titled "Planning for Riparian Buffer and Supplemental BMP Strategies at Three Rivers Park in Woodbury (CT)."
