COME LOOK IN LOCAL STREAMS FOR SMALL, FUNNY-LOOKING CRITTERS We will teach you about the small creatures in our river (mostly larvae of certain insects) and why having them there indicates excellent water quality. We’ll then go out into the river and see how many of these critters we can actually find. Our “bugs” will be transported in buckets to the Fire Department where PRWC experts will help with sorting and identifying. Our results will be submitted to the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection. Ages 10 and up; youth must have an adult with them. Dress for wading. JOIN THE FUN & GET YOUR FEET WET!
