Stream Health is Surveyed Data from annual statewide effort will be sent to Congress

WOODBURY – The Pomperaug River Watershed is home to a number of creatures and it is some that are the hardest to see at first glance that are worth the closest look. The Pomperaug River Watershed Coalition held its 11th annual macroinvertebrate survey Tuesday as a group of researchers, educators and volunteers came together to carry out the study and collect data to be incorporated into a statewide monitoring program called Rapid Bioassessment by Volunteers.
