PRWC seeking volunteers for Rain Garden planting

The Pomperaug River Watershed Coalition and Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) will be installing a rain garden at Community House Park in Southbury. Rain gardens have numerous benefits, in addition to their aesthetic beauty, rain gardens provide areas with flood mitigation and prevent pollutants from reaching reaching waterbodies. If you are interested in getting involved the YCC will be at Community House Park from July 30th to August 3rd, volunteers are highly encouraged and appreciated.
