EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
The event will offer passed hors d’oeuvres and bounty table presentations prepared by Chef Riad Aamar (top left), owner of Oliva on Main in Bethlehem, CT. Aamar credits his early years growing up in the West Bank for giving him his reverence for nature's bounty. The simple life of good, natural foods inspired him to develop his current culinary specialties featuring the tastes of northern Italy, the Mediterranean, and northern Africa.
The event will also feature delicious desserts prepared by Pastry Chef Denis Niez (top middle), master baker and owner of Ovens of France. A staple in Woodbury for over 20 years, Ovens of France is known for its hand-made croissants and other delectable pastries, fresh baked breads, artisan jams and jellies, coffee, French cheeses, and more!
Guests will indulge in these incredible eats while enjoying a live musical performance by classical guitar soloist Brian DuFord (top right). After a robust career in concertizing, scoring films, and composing classical music, Duford has re-established his roots as a solo performer and now appears regularly throughout Connecticut. For three seasons, he has been the artist-in-residence at Walker Road Vineyards in Woodbury, where he presents music from the Renaissance, Baroque and Classical periods.
