Why This Event Matters in 2026


Over the past several years, extreme flooding has reshaped landscapes, strained infrastructure, and increased erosion across our watershed.

​

The Pomperaug River Watershed Coalition works proactively with municipalities, landowners, and residents to monitor water quality, support flood resilience planning, and protect the natural systems that protect us.

 

Our Gala goal of  $130,000 raised will help support:

  • Water quality monitoring

  • Flood resilience collaboration with towns

  • Land protection and restoration

  • Community education and stewardship
