Keeping It Local with PRWC April 25-26

Your gift to PRWC through Give Local online giving campaign April 25-26 can be more than doubled with challenge funds. Help PRWC reach $10,000 in donations April 25-26 and a generous donor has pledged to match $10,000! Every gift at any level really helps!

Each time you drink a glass of water, wash your hands, prepare a meal, walk past a tree, or watch the rain fall, you’re experiencing the importance of water. Whether it is supporting human consumption or ecological functions, water is an essential ingredient for life.

Only 2.5% of the world’s water is freshwater and only 0.007% of that is deemed clean enough and available to drink. This is why it is critically important to protect this vital resource. We all have an important role in protecting the

rivers you love, the water you drink, and the water you use every day. Please don’t let this generous challenge grant drift away. Give a gift of $10 or more to PRWC between 7 a.m. on April 25 and 7 p.m. on April 26. Every dollar raised during the 36-hour online giving campaign will be stretched further by bonus funds and prizes donated by Connecticut Community Foundation and generous sponsors.
